FOSTER HOMES:
Take a rescue dog into your home, give it love, walk it, and help it to learn leash manners and other basic commands, housetrain if necessary, and help find a suitable adoptive home.

SHELTER DOGS:
Call humane societies we work with to find out if there are any GSD's at the shelter that are in need of rescue and also taking photos of shelter dogs in need for our website. For qualified volunteers who have experience in the field, evaluating temperaments of dogs at humane societies or dogs being surrendered.

TRANSPORTING DOGS:
Transportation from shelters to foster homes.

ADOPTION VOLUNTEERS:
Contacting potential adopters to get a feel for what they are looking for in a dog and talking to them about what dog may be the best suited for their particular situation.

OTHER VOLUNTEER EVENTS:
Staff booths at events
Do promo work, like putting up flyers of available dogs at various locations
Contact local newspapers about free ads, etc.
Anything you have experience in that will contribute to our effort
